Ca'Salina Giorgia Brut Sparkling Wine
A very special sparkling wine made by Ca'Salina, one of the top Prosecco wineries in Valdobbiadene. Giorgia has no added sulphites, the chemical thought to give you headaches and hangovers. The wine is made from the same grapes as used to make Prosecco, Glera. However, due to a different modern production method the wine cannot be called Prosecco.
It is similar to Prosecco, with a little more complexity which makes it a very incredible wine. In simple terms, the aroma and taste is similar to that of combination between a Prosecco and Champagne style with hints of apple, acacia as well as honey, butter and brioche aromas. The taste is very clean and fresh on plate.

All wines have a natural level of sulphites and most have a level of added sulphites. Sulphites is used as a preservative to stop anything bad in the the wine (eg, bacteria, fungus, bad natural yeast etc) making it go off. Ca'Salina removes anything which might be bad things and so no added sulphites are needed. Simple. Giorgia has a natural level of suphites of just 10.
